Faculty/Business Externship Experience

Many faculty members of the Bow School District have participated in the Faculty/Business Externship Experience. This professional development opportunity offers up to a week long externship with area businesses, nonprofit organizations, or government agencies. Educators see first-hand what skills are needed in the workplace and how the skills they teach are applied in a work setting. This knowledge is integrated into the classroom in an effort to prepare students for the workforce of the 21st century.

In addition, externships have taken place at Bancroft Employment Services, Bio-Concept Laboratories, Inc., Center for Eating Disorders Management, Inc., Concord Police Department, Eastern Analytical, Inc., Granite State Independent Living, NH Department of Employment Security, NH Secretary of State, and the Office of the Governor.
